Planting & Cleaning - The Conservancy hosts clean up and planting days every two months or so to take care of planting, pruning, weeding, raking, mulching and other beautification. We provide water, snacks and tools, just bring your gloves! The LSC will happily verify participation of students looking for public service hours. If you are interested in receiving notification of cleaning days, please let us know by sending an email to us. Grant Research and Writing - The LSC needs help researching and applying for available grants. Interested? Special Event Assistance - The Conservancy periodically needs assistance in special events such as our spring "Gardens with a View" tour. Adopt-a-Bed - The LSC is looking for groups to adopt the flower beds around John McDonough, Ben Franklin and Henry Clay and the four corner flower beds. Clean and weed free beds are beautiful. Keep the dog bag stations stocked - The park has dog bag stations at all four corners which keeps our lawns clean and pet friendly at the same time. The LSC purchases the bags for the stations and needs help with making sure they are always stocked.
